Our Story

Michael Ryan Lubricants are agents for Maxol, AdBlue, Ryan Lube, and Varta Batteries and are based in Ballinscarthy. We have over 30 years experience in the Oil business.

Michael Ryan Lubricants & Co. Ltd. is a successful family run business based in Ballinascarthy, Clonakilty, Co. Cork. Established in 1988, we are operating in the lubricant Industry with over 30 years and over this period of time we have built a strong relationship as distributors for Maxol Lubricants which whom we are the companys biggest distributor. With a large customer base in the Munster region, Michael Ryan Lubricants operates in the agricultural, commercial, automotive, industrial and marine sectors. In 1988 Denis Ryan, Michael’s brother became an authorised Maxol distributor. Two years later Michael took over the running of the company, which he then purchased outright in 1993. From here, Michael Ryan Lubricants began to blossom. The business grew steadily, with new customers every year and with this Michael hired a sales representative to cover the region along with a driver and office administrator.
